first time to Cochina Hermanas with my best friend. Luckily, it was warm and cozy inside. Food ended up being really good, I would probably get their tacos again. Service was not bad, they should slow down picking up plates, or waitress ended up, spilling the salsa on the floor, got a towel to clean it all up and push it under the table.

The food & drinks are excellent at Cocina Hermanas. Chicken Enchiladas with mole sauce, fajitas, tacos of all kinds ... never had a bad dish. Service is likewise top-notch ... friendly & welcoming.

Great food & fantastic service. Went two days this week while on a work trip and was well taken care of by Maria and Abraham. Authentic Mexican food with an extra je ne sais quoi. Latin vibes and decor but not overdone. Birria empanadas were perfectly cooked with flaky a crust. They're served with a consume (broth) to dip into. That was fire too! For dessert we had the fried plantains served with a scoop of horchata ice cream. Amazing. Tried the taco trio day 2 which did not disappoint. Birria taco was exceptional. My favorite was the chicharron. Looking forward to next trip, we'll definitely try again!

Love this place! We come often- food and drinks are delicious. The staff are always nice and they are quick with service. They have a nice atmosphere with seating indoors and outdoors. They have a bar area that seats about ten people. We come here for their happy hour often. It's every day from 3-5pm and they have good offers!

We went on a Sunday evening. It was a quiet evening there. We ordered the chicken tacos. Our server, Ashley, was very attentive. She brought our food and drinks out quickly. They also have good deserts with more choices than just two options. We will return.

Stopped by after the Hot August Car Show. Had the Agua Chile de Atun Fresco (ahu tuna, avocado, mango, cucumber, orange & sesame seeds) & the Baja Trio lettuce wraps (grilled shrimp, roasted fish & campechano (mixed meat). Both delicious! Nice, comfortable restaurant with lots of outdoor seating, and nice, efficient staff!

First time at cocina hermanas and it was amazing!! My bf loved it so much he wants to come back already. The aguachile/ceviche plates were the best filled with so much flavor. I don't think I've ever tried aguachile this tasty before. The shrimps were fresh! We met the chef and he was so sweet. You can tell he really has a passion for these dishes and you cannot find them like that anywhere else in the Bay Area. I love how much outdoor seating they have, there's enough space for a big group.

Still on the hunt for those red sauce enchiladas & I may have found them, just scrumptious. So the meals started with chips & salsa, followed by an order of the cauliflower & drinks all around. The waitress made the suggestion of trying their house cocktail of resfresco de pepino - refreshing, good flavor & tasty. One drink came out smoking, cool to see, even yummier to drink. For the mains there was an order of the chile verde, chicken enchiladas done in red mole & an order of the enchiladas in chile ancho sauce; all past the yummy test. The chicken in both sets of enchiladas was prepared traditionally, shredded. The chile verde was cubed, yet the pork was cooked perfectly. Onto dessert, this was the only let down; we ordered the churros, they were a tad too dense, always thought churros are crunchy on the outside & fluffy on the inside, not the case here. Service was efficient, welcoming & our waitress made good suggestions. If you asked a food runner for something, an aqua fresca, they were on it, went & got it. We'll definitely be back, thus far love the food.
